Position: Technical Peripherals Expert

Job Location : Riyadh, KSA

1. Technical Issue Investigation

Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to computer peripherals on Windows and Mac systems.
Resolve OS-level issues such as blue screens, driver conflicts, and peripheral compatibility.
Use diagnostic tools to identify root causes and propose permanent fixes.
Develop and maintain Windows golden images for standardized deployments.

2. Problem Solving & Support

Collaborate with IT support teams and vendors to implement resolutions.
Track open tickets, document resolutions, and follow up on vendor escalations.
Deliver end-to-end solutions for recurring technical problems

3. System & Server Administration

Administer and troubleshoot Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policies, and permissions.
Manage tools like ManageEngine: ADManager, ADAudit, ADSelfService Plus, Exchange Reporter Plus, Endpoint Central.
Maintain Exchange servers (user mailbox setup, patching, performance monitoring).
Apply system updates and patches regularly.

4. Peripheral Devices Expertise

Stay up to date with the latest models and performance of peripherals
Recommend and test new devices for compatibility and performance.

5. Reporting & Documentation

Create detailed technical reports including root cause analysis and resolution.
Maintain clear documentation for recurring issues and solutions.
Develop internal KB articles for reference by other IT staff.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless peripheral deployment.
Participate in quality checks and system integration testing for peripherals.

7. Vendor and Escalation Management

Coordinate with vendors to handle technical escalations.
Follow up on open cases and maintain SLAs with external service providers.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of technical support/administration experience. Past experience working in a semi-government organization (preferred).

Key Roles:

  • In-depth knowledge of Windows/Mac OS, Exchange servers, and peripheral integration.
  • Experience with ManageEngine tools is highly desirable.
  • Strong diagnostic, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
