Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Payment Specialist to lead and execute the delivery of a fully operational, scalable, and compliant digital wallet ecosystem. The role requires expertise in digital payments, regulatory compliance, project delivery, and cross-functional leadership within the Saudi market.
Core Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Develop and manage the project plan, aligning with strategic goals and delivery timelines.
- Lead cross-functional execution across finance, IT, marketing, marketplace, and support teams.
- Serve as the central stakeholder contact, providing updates and managing expectations.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring regulatory and operational compliance.
- Deliver a fully operational, scalable, and compliant digital wallet platform ready for handover.
- Oversee finance operations, including cashback workflows, wallet liability tracking, reconciliation, and monthly reporting for audit readiness.
- Manage merchant onboarding and monetization, including segmentation, billing, and subscription strategies.
- Coordinate growth marketing for launch campaigns, brand assets, and influencer activations.
- Ensure customer success and support readiness, including SOPs and escalation flows.
- Supervise IT governance, Bank SDK integration, and SAMA compliance/audit documentation.
- Guide data infrastructure and analytics, including dashboard creation and performance tracking.
- Drive product-led growth and optimization, focusing on user activation, retention, and merchant impact.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Percentage of target merchants onboarded and monetized.
- User acquisition and activation metrics post-launch.
- Operational readiness (e.g., reconciliation accuracy, support SLAs).
Required Knowledge & Experience
- 10+ years in digital payments, or banking project delivery.
- Experience with BaaS, card programs, or mobile wallet launches.
- Deep understanding of digital payments, card systems, and embedded finance.
- Familiarity with Saudi regulations and SAMA compliance.
- Strong project management skills (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid).
- Experience with BI tools, data modelling, and KPI tracking.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Technology (MBA preferred).
