Position: IT & Cybersecurity Manager

Job Description :

  • Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to safeguard the organization’s IT infrastructure, networks, and systems.
  • Monitor the network and system logs for any suspicious activity, security breaches, or vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scanning to identify and address potential risks.
  • Configure and maintain network security devices, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and virtual private networks (VPNs).
  • Manage security incidents, conduct investigations, and implement remediation measures to minimize the impact of security breaches.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the secure configuration and operation of servers, workstations, and other network devices.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding security best practices, awareness training, and incident response procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies, and recommend appropriate countermeasures and solutions.
  • Evaluate and recommend security products, solutions, and services to enhance the organizations overall security posture.
  • Maintain documentation of security policies, procedures, incident reports, and security-related configurations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Proven experience working in IT security, network administration, or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and network security
  • technologies.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
  • Experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/preventio systems, vulnerability scanners, and SIEM solutions.
  • Knowledge of encryption protocols, authentication mechanisms, and secure network architectures.
  • Understanding of web application security, cloud security, and mobile security best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex security issues.
