Question
Salah, what anchors Flint’s long-term vision?
CEO Flint MENA Region
Our vision is very clear. We are on a journey to be among the top five technology-driven companies in the Middle East.
This isn’t a slogan – it’s a commitment to being an active partner in Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 story.
“We want to help build the region’s digital backbone, not just serve it.”
Question
Flint has invested significantly in Saudi talent. What drives this?
CEO Flint MENA Region
National capability building is part of our DNA. Through our CSR efforts, we have worked closely with the Ministry of Labour, NGOs, and non-profits to identify, train, and deploy Saudi talent across roles – from engineering to HR and administration.
Today, more than 50 Saudi nationals are part of the Flint family, contributing to critical national programs. This is one of our proudest achievements.

Tell us about Flint Academy.
CEO Flint MENA Region
Talent is the fuel of digital transformation. Fresh graduates and interns go through structured training for a month before they enter live projects.
This ensures they step in confident, capable, and aligned with our performance culture.

Question
What is your advice for young professionals aspiring to lead?
CEO Flint MENA Region
Two words: Learn and Earn.
Spend at least 30 minutes every day learning something new — technology, leadership, communication, self-development.
Market conditions change daily – your mindset should too.
And remember – integrity is everything.
Have the courage to say no when something goes against your principles and values. Transparency builds lasting careers and lasting companies.

Question
How did your entrepreneurial journey begin?
CEO Flint MENA Region
When I arrived in Saudi Arabia in 2002, I knew I wanted to build something. I began as a software engineer but found myself pulled towards sales and business development.
After a decade of learning, I founded S3 Net Systems, which later evolved into Flint.
Everything — from the first logo to strategy — I learned and built myself. That journey taught me one of the greatest lessons of leadership: ownership builds perspective.

Question
How has the tech landscape evolved, and where is Flint headed next?
CEO Flint MENA Region
A decade ago, this region’s tech market looked very different — less open, less competitive. Competition today is healthy; it raises standards, and quality determines survival.
The next decade is all about digital transformation, AI, automation, and human-technology integration. We are partnering with global innovators across India, Dubai, and Egypt — first implementing new technologies internally, and then guiding customers to adopt them.
Vision 2030 is a collective responsibility — every organization must evolve. When companies transform, economies transform.
“Leadership is not about titles. It is about responsibility – for people, progress, and purpose.”
Salahuddin Khaja
