Patch Management Expert

Location: Riyadh, KSA
Notice Period: Only Immediate joiners OR not longer than 30 days’ Notice Period.


Position Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Patch Management Expert with hands-on expertise in ManageEngine Endpoint Central (Desktop Central) or related ManageEngine patching solutions. The role involves end-to-end ownership of patch lifecycle management across servers and endpoints devices to ensure compliance, security, and operational stability.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Patch Lifecycle Management :
    • Plan, test, schedule, and deploy OS and third-party application patches using ManageEngine.
    • Ensure patching across Windows and third-party applications.
    • Develop patching strategies for on-premises, cloud, Virtual, and hybrid environments.
  2. ManageEngine Administration :
    • Configure, maintain, and optimize ManageEngine Endpoint Central for patch deployment.
    • Create custom patch deployment policies and automate patch approval workflows.
    • Generate compliance and vulnerability reports for stakeholders.
  3. Security & Compliance :
    • Ensure patching aligns with security standards .
    • Collaborate with InfoSec and audit teams to address vulnerabilities.
    • Track and remediate zero-day vulnerabilities promptly.
  4. Troubleshooting & Optimization :
    • Investigate and resolve patch deployment failures and conflicts.
    • Optimize bandwidth and patch distribution using ManageEngine distribution servers.
    • Work closely with infrastructure, network, and service desk teams for issue resolution.
  5. Documentation & Reporting :
    • Maintain detailed patch management documentation and standard operating procedures.
    • Provide regular patch compliance dashboards and reports to management.
    • Support IT audits and regulatory compliance checks.

Qualifications & Skills :

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience: 3–7 years of experience in IT infrastructure or endpoint management.
  • 2+ years hands-on experience with ManageEngine Endpoint Central (Desktop Central).

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of patch management for Windows, Linux, and macOS.
  • Strong experience with Scripting creation and customization .
  • Experience with third-party patching (Adobe, Java, Chrome, etc.).
  • Familiarity with SCCM, WSUS, Intune, or other patch tools is a plus.
  • Understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem).
    Understand GOV policies and process related to change within environment as CRQ .

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills.

Preferred Certifications :

  • ManageEngine Endpoint Central / Patch Management certification (preferred).
  • ITIL v4 Foundation.
  • Microsoft, Linux, or security certifications (MCSA, RHCSA, CompTIA Security+).
