Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Professional to design, implement, and manage enterprise-grade cloud solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Azure services, cloud architecture, security, and automation, with the ability to drive cloud adoption and optimization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available solutions on Microsoft Azure
- Architect and manage core Azure services including Virtual Machines, App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure Storage
- Build and manage networking components such as VNets, NSGs, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, and Azure Firewall
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
- Monitor and optimize cloud environments using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
- Manage identity and access using Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) and RBAC
- Ensure cloud security best practices, including Microsoft Defender for Cloud, compliance, and governance policies
- Lead cloud migration and modernization projects from on-premises to Azure
- Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions using Azure-native tools
- Optimize cost using Azure Cost Management and FinOps practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, security, and application teams
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5–10 years of overall IT experience with strong focus on Microsoft Azure (minimum 3–5 years)
Hands-on experience with:
- Azure Compute (VMs, Scale Sets, App Services)
- Azure Networking (VNet, Load Balancer, Application Gateway, VPN, ExpressRoute)
- Azure Storage (Blob, File, Disk, Data Lake)
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and containerization (Docker)
- Strong understanding of Azure Active Directory (AAD), IAM, and security controls
- Experience with automation/scripting (PowerShell, Azure CLI, Python)
- Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git workflows
- Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Sentinel is a plus)
- Good understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance frameworks
Preferred Qualifications
Azure certifications such as:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
- Experience in hybrid cloud environments (Azure Arc, on-prem integration)
- Exposure to Microsoft Sentinel or cloud-native SIEM solutions
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices
