Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Design secure architecture solutions for networks, cloud environments, applications, and databases.
• Develop security reference architectures, technical standards, and guidelines.
• Perform architecture reviews and threat modeling to identify potential vulnerabilities and design weaknesses.
• Ensure architectures comply with NCA ECC, ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS benchmarks.
• Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and engineering teams to implement security controls throughout the system lifecycle (Secure-by-Design).
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend architectural improvements for enhanced security.
• Develop and maintain security architecture documentation, including diagrams, policies, and standards.
• Conduct security reviews for projects and provide guidance to development teams.
• Support incident response and forensic investigations by providing architecture insights.

Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on architecture or design.

Strong knowledge of security frameworks:

• NCA ECC
• ISO 27001 / ISO 27005
• NIST Cybersecurity Framework / SP 800-53
• SABSA or TOGAF for enterprise architecture
• Hands-on experience in cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in threat modeling, secure design principles, and vulnerability management.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly explanations.

Professional Certifications (Preferred)

• SABSA — Security Architecture
• TOGAF — Enterprise Architecture
• CISSP (including ISSAP specialization)
• CCSP — Cloud Security Professional
• GIAC 608 / GCFA / GCFE
