Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer with strong technical expertise in designing, reviewing, and delivering high-quality electrical engineering solutions for industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across electrical system design, international standards, multi-disciplinary coordination, and project leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform/checking of design calculations like Electrical Load, Transformers & DG sizing, cable sizing, Illumination design for buildings, area lighting and road, Earthing & Lightning Protection, UPS & battery sizing, Fault level calculations etc. in line with latest international design codes & standards
  Preparation and
• hecking of detailed Single Line Diagrams for LV & MV systems, Preparation of Cabling, Lighting, Power, Earthing & Lightning Protection Layouts, preparation of Bill of Materials.
• preparation of Cable schedule and Cable Interconnection Schedule
• Preparation and checking of Technical Specifications & data sheets, Technical Bid analysis, Purchase recommendations and vendor drawing review of the electrical equipment
• Perform “Project lead Engineer-Electrical” role for medium size of projects.
• Identifying Value addition opportunities
• Coordination within the discipline, other disciplines, Client and project management team
• Adhere to Quality Management procedures & safety standards of the company
• To guide/mentor/train the team junior engineers
• Adhere to Quality Management procedures & safety standards of the company
• Contribution for standardization of documents
• Participation in proposals, supporting BD team in estimation of efforts.

Certification:

• Valid Professional Engineer (PE) Certification of Saudi Council of Engineers

Key Skills Required:

• Preference experience in the field of Chemical, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Fertilizer, Industrial projects etc.
• Technically competent engineer with excellent communication and time management skills.
• Team building and guiding the team
• Knowledge of Electrical system of various mechanical and process packages
• Familiarity with latest international design codes & standards & local regulations
• Carrying out Inspection of Electrical equipment
• Knowledge of Reviewing 3D Modelling with Navisworks software
• Knowledge of Dialux & AutoCad
• Value engineering
• Experience of reviewing Electrical System studies- Load flow, short circuit, motor starting and transient studies
