Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our team in Riyadh on a rotating shift schedule. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with large-scale networks or service provider environments and possess strong communication and troubleshooting skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day network operations, including monitoring, incident handling, and service restoration.
- Plan and execute network upgrades, configuration changes, and migration activities.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues efficiently and ensure minimal downtime.
- Support and optimize routing, switching, and MPLS technologies.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure successful delivery of network services.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to operational standards and procedures.
Technical Skills Required
- Strong experience working with major network platforms such as: Cisco NCS5500, ASR9K, ACI, etc.
- Deep knowledge of routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, etc.
- Solid understanding of MPLS technologies and operations: Segment Routing (SR), MP-BGP, L2/L3 VPN, Inter-AS, QoS, EVPN, etc.
- Hands-on experience using Network Monitoring Tools: SolarWinds or similar NMS tools
- Strong analytical skills for network performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with network design, assessment, and planning activities.
- Background in daily network operations, migrations, and configuration deployments.
- Relevant certifications:
- CCNP or CCIE (highly preferred)
