Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Resident Operation Manager to oversee, manage, and optimize the operations of a complex Telecom Network environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise across IP/MPLS, MPLS-TP, VSAT networks, and hands-on experience managing large-scale NOC operations.

Key Responsibilities

Technical & Engineering Oversight

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate highly complex Telecom network design activities and technical documentation.
  • Formulate and evaluate engineering bases for advanced Telecom network studies.
  • Lead or conduct specialized engineering tasks in planning, design, project management, and operations across IP/MPLS, MPLS-TP, VSAT, and related technologies.
  • Recommend modifications and standardization improvements to enhance existing Telecom facilities.

Project & Operations Management

  • Integrate all components of large Telecom network projects and ensure timely execution within available resources.
  • Implement work outlines, methodologies, and equipment requirements.
  • Manage project deliverables as per NOC scope.
  • Ensure smooth implementation of all services and contract activities.

Network Quality, SLA & Performance

  • Implement and maintain QA/QC programs including procedures, inspections, and acceptance testing.
  • Ensure all tickets are resolved within SLA.
  • Ensure MDT closures within assigned change windows.
  • Track recurring network issues and recommend best practice solutions.

Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Review and guide work done by junior engineers, ensuring compliance with technical standards.
  • Conduct routine meetings with customers for daily operational updates.
  • Manage FO (Field Operations) team duty plans, ensure required training, and maintain process flow knowledge.
  • Interact with third-party stakeholders as required.

Reporting & Escalation

  • Update ticketing and escalation procedures as per NG requirements.
  • Collect monthly POD data and prepare POD reports.
  • Escalate major outages to NG management and follow up until closure.
  • Prepare detailed reports on major network incidents in compliance with NG guidelines.
