Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Aruba Wireless, Data Center to join our Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the architecture and operating Wireless network infrastructure, data centers ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security.

Responsibilities

  • Performance Capacity Planning: Monitor network performance and optimize configurations to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of network and data center designs, configurations, and procedures.
  • Implement and Maintain Network /Wireless Infrastructure.
  • Manage network infrastructure, ensuring stability, security, and availability on a 24/7 basis (On-Call Coverage).
  • Change and Incident Management: Oversee the incident management process for network issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution. And Implement change management processes to handle the lifecycle of network changes, minimizing impact and ensuring traceability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated severity 1, 2, and 3 cases in a timely manner.
  • Provide on-call coverage to handle network-related incidents and issues outside regular working hours.
  • Validate technical design documentation (HLD/LLD/NIP) for complex backbone changes and ensure smooth deployment on the core and access IP infrastructure.
  • Prepare NIP (Network Implementation Plan) documents for complex network infrastructure changes.
  • Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal business units to address escalated cases effectively.
  • Supervise critical network changes, project rollouts, and the integration of new services.
  • Implement backbone and customer-related IP solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
  • Oversee network optimization changes, including the rollout of vendor’s best practices, syslog, and security audits.
  • Evaluate PSIRT (Product Security Incident Response Team) and Field Notices on infrastructure devices and take necessary action for mitigation.
  • Coordinate with vendor TAC (Technical Assistance Center) and professional services to maintain network stability.
  • Mentor Junior engineers on new technologies, troubleshooting techniques, and the creation of MOPs (Method of Procedures).
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Utilize automation tools and scripting languages (such as Python, Perl, or Shell) to streamline network operations and tasks.
  • Perform regular system maintenance activities, including patching, upgrades, and capacity planning, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
  • Implement and enforce security policies for scoped systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct vulnerability remediation, keeping the systems secure and protected.
  • Develop and maintain Operational documentation “SOPs,” including system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides, to facilitate knowledge sharing and operational efficiency.
  • Expected to Lead network engineering teams, ensuring high availability and proactive operations aligned with Managed Services SLAs and KPIs.
  • Develops and enforces a zero-outage due to change strategy, including MOP writing, review, implementation, and post-implementation analysis.
  • Fosters a culture of continuous learning and a customer-first mindset within the team.

Qualifications

  • CCIE Wireless or industry related Certification.
  • Experience in Aruba and ClearPass products
  • Proficiency in Network Security, Routing and switching, and Preferably in ACI and SDWAN.
  • Install Base include (Aruba Access switches , Aruba Core switches , Clear Pass , Aruba wireless , Aruba Management System , Fortinet Firewalls and F5 Load Balancer)
