Role Overview
The Senior AI Technical Sales Engineering Director sits at the intersection of AI technology, enterprise consulting, and revenue generation. This role will lead AI solution sales, technical pre-sales, and client engagement, helping Flint secure enterprise AI projects across Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC region. The position works closely with the Chief AI Officer, AI Solution Architects, and Governance teams to design and deliver AI transformation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
AI Revenue & Pipeline Development:
- Own and develop the AI services revenue pipeline across Saudi Arabia and the GCC.
- Identify, qualify, and close enterprise AI opportunities in Telecom, BFSI, and Government sectors.
- Lead proposal development, pricing strategy, and contract negotiations.
- Build new client relationships and expand Flint’s AI presence across regional enterprises.
- Technical Pre-Sales & AI Solution Design
- Serve as the AI technical SME in client engagements, workshops, and executive briefings.
- Design enterprise AI architectures including:
- Agentic AI solutions, RAG architectures, Multi-agent orchestration frameworks, Cloud AI deployments
- Work with architects and delivery teams to translate client requirements into AI solutions and ROI models.
- Lead AI solution demonstrations and proof-of-concept engagements.
- Go-to-Market & Thought Leadership
- Define AI go-to-market strategy across priority sectors.
- Develop AI solution playbooks, proposals, and executive briefings.
- Represent Flint at major regional technology events such as LEAP Saudi Arabia and GITEX Global.
- Publish insights on AI transformation trends in the GCC market.
- Partner & Ecosystem Engagement
- Develop co-sell relationships with cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, and Google Cloud.
- Collaborate with technology partners including ServiceNow and Salesforce.
- Engage with AI ecosystem organizations and research initiatives across the region.
- Market Intelligence & Practice Development
- Provide insights into AI market demand, competitor activity, and client priorities.
- Support development of Flint’s AI service offerings and solution portfolio.
- Mentor future AI sales engineers and pre-sales specialists.
Experience:
- 12+ years experience in enterprise technology sales, solutions engineering, or consulting.
- At least 5 years working with AI, data, cloud platforms, or digital transformation solutions.
- Proven track record of closing enterprise deals ranging from $500K – $5M+.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of the modern AI stack including:
- Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Agentic AI frameworks
- RAG architectures
- Cloud AI platforms
- Ability to communicate AI architectures to both technical and executive audiences.
- Strong understanding of the Saudi and GCC enterprise technology landscape.
- Experience working with Telecom, Banking, or Government sectors.
- Fluent English; Arabic is highly preferred.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience with major technology companies or consulting firms such as Deloitte, Accenture, PwC, or EY.
- Experience with enterprise AI platforms and cloud services.
- Existing relationships with enterprise organizations across the GCC.
- Thought leadership or speaking experience in AI and technology forums.
